Motivational 1 Counseling is a dedicated entity with the specific mission of “Serving the Underserved”, which means our focus is on the communities of individuals in need of various services but have been overlooked, ignored and, for the most part, have become invisible in society as a whole. Motivational 1, is dedicated and committed to providing clinical as well as peer services to those underserved.
Peer Support
Any client seeking the assistance of M1 Peer Support Services begins their journey enrolled in our CCM, Comprehensive Care Model. This means that we believe there are clients that may have additional needs that should be addressed. If additional treatment, discovered during their intake evaluation, is necessary, they are then scheduled for a private, confidential clinical session or scheduled for one or more educational group sessions that will cover a wide range of topics dealing with behavioral issues, such as dealing with anxiety, trauma, family issues, etc.
During the intake process our Clinicians will also have developed a treatment plan providing a focus for one of our over thirty certified peer coaches. The coach will use the treatment plan to guide the client through their recovery. Each of our coaches has lived experience just like the sponsors in AA or NA. Each M1 coach is trained, experienced, and carefully selected based on their complete dedication, commitment to excellence, demonstrated compassion and the belief that peer coaching is, in fact, answering a calling.
Motivational 1 is also an approved provider for “Justice Involved” individuals who are returning to society, via parole or probation after being convicted of various legal infractions called the Client Choice Care Program.
