M1 Group of Colorado, DBA Motivational 1 is announcing two openings for the position of Peer Support Specialist III. One for Northern Colorado to include Denver/Aurora and Loveland, and one for Southern Colorado to include Colorado Springs and Pueblo. (Both positions may be subject to expansion areas which may add communities to each region of responsibility)

POSITION DESCRIPTION:
This position is in accordance with the Motivational 1 Advancement and Progression Policy and program. The Peer Support Specialist III is a Level 3 position.

DIRECT REPORT:
The PRS will directly report to the Senior Operations Manager for the district in which the coach is assigned.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS
In addition to maintaining a minimum client list, this position’s requirements include but may not be limited to:
• A minimum of 1 year in recovery.
• A minimum of 1 year of coaching experience.
• Maintaining a minimum client list, to be determined.
• Maintaining up-to-date certifications including any advanced certifications and renewals as applicable.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively.
• High School Diploma, GED or other educational certification desirable.
• Strong, demonstrated understanding and application of coaching modalities.
• Bi-lingual ability is desirable.

COMPENSATION
This position will require successful applicants to become W-2 employees with a salary range from $65,000 annually to $90,000 annually both eligibility for bonuses

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
This position reports directly to the Senior Operations Manager for Colorado. Under direction of the SOM, the Peer Support Specialist III’s duties will include, but not be limited to:
• Assisting the Operations Manager in coach supervision, discipline, and communication.
• Working closely with assigned Case Manager’s.
• Providing support to RC’s when and where needed.
• Providing Guidance, direction and/advice to subordinate coaches.
• Creating, maintaining and supervising a mentorship program for newly appointed RCs. This will include mentoring or assigning a mentor when required.
• Creating/Developing training programs in conjunction with the Senior Training Coach.
• Ensuring on-going training to subordinate Staff coordinated with the Senior Training Coach.
• Creating, maintaining and supervising Outreach efforts or Programs following the guidelines set forth in the M1 Outreach Training Guide.
• Ensuring subordinates compliance with all M1 Policies and Procedures.
• Ensuring strict adherence to HIPAA laws, rules and regulations.
• Maintaining a minimum client list.
• Consistently meeting or exceeding M1 minimum standards with respect to:
– Client Sessions
– Proper coding and noting of the Client’s Electronic Health Record.
– Communication
• Creating, attending, participating in, or leading regular team meetings, training and Supervisory Sessions.
• Informing the SOM of any suspected or actual Contract Violations, HIPAA violations or any actions that may be construed as such or as being unethical.
• Maintaining a minimum number of office hours as required.
• Creating and maintaining regular and consistent communications to and from staff of Peer Support Specialists.
• Any other duties as directed.
